We want to introduce you to our newest hires in our Jefferson City Office, adding exceptional expertise to our professional engineering staff.
Senior Engineer Byron F. Shaw, Jr. PE brings exceptional expertise and knowledge relating to the development, planning, design, financing, and construction of wastewater facilities and systems. Mr. Shaw comes to MECO after a long and rewarding career with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources. His most recent responsibilities were as Engineering Unit Chief for the Clean Water State Revolving Fund Program. In this capacity, he supervised the engineering staff within the Water Protection Program’s Financial Assistance Center.
Senior Engineer Kevin D. McDonald, PE is a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer, possessing exemplary skills sets in the specific tasks involved in process control, electrical and plumbing (MEP) engineering, design, and construction. Mr. McDonald brings in-depth knowledge and experience in the design of MEP systems, coordination with architects and owners, cost estimating, production of construction ready AutoCAD drawings, assisting in the preparation of technical specifications and construction documents, review of equipment and shop drawing submittals, construction administration, and construction observation.
