HANNIBAL, Mo. — The historic lighthouse atop Hannibal’s Cardiff Hill will be completely rebuilt under a $135,453 contract approved at Tuesday night’s Hannibal City Council meeting.
The council awarded the project to Martin Construction, the low bidder. The only other bid was submitted by Bleigh Construction for $165,422.
The contracts terms call for the project to be completed within 75 days. That means the new lighthouse should be in place by Memorial Day weekend.Read More…
