MECO Engineering Company is pleased to announce the opening of our new office in Boonville, Missouri. Located in the beautiful AIG Financial Advisors Building at 1121 Main Street, the new facility will enhance the delivery of engineering and surveying services to the City of Boonville and to clients in the Central Missouri region. This centrally located office will provide a base of operations for MECO’s engineering, surveying and technical staff as they perform their various duties.

MECO Engineering has served as the City Engineer for the City of Boonville since 2002, with MECO Vice President Scott E. Vogler, PE serving in the capacity as City Engineer. The City recently extended MECO’s engineering contract, expressing their confidence in MECO and especially in Scott and his many accomplishments.

Scott and the entire MECO Engineering management team and staff look forward to continuing our work with the City and in the region, and to establishing new relationships through the opening of this office. LINNEMAN JOINS MECO ENGINEERING IN NEW BOONVILLE, MO OFFICE

MECO Engineering Company recently relocated our Boonville, Missouri Office to 1121 Main Street to enhance the delivery of our services to the City of Boonville and area clients. We are pleased to announce that Roger C. Linneman, PE has joined our firm as a Project Manager and will work from this new facility.

A 1983 graduate of Kansas State University - Manhattan, Roger was conferred his Bachelor of Science Degree in Architectural Engineering. Roger is licensed as a Professional Engineer in Missouri and Kansas.

Roger’s career includes over 25 years of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) design, construction and project management experience. His experience includes the design of HVAC systems, plumbing and electrical systems for a variety of new building projects, renovations of existing buildings and facilities, plan review, code compliance, and quality control. Roger’s career has encompassed both the public and private sector.

With Roger as a member of our professional staff, MECO is now able to offer a complete package of civil engineering design services “in house” to our clients.

HUMMEL JOINS MECO ENGINEERING'S PROFESSIONAL STAFF

MECO Engineering Company is pleased to announce that John E. Hummel, PE has joined the firm as a Senior Engineer in the company’s Hannibal, Missouri Office. John comes to MECO with over 23 years of professional engineering experience working in the consulting field.

John’s extensive resume includes road, highway, and intersection design (including numerous state DOT projects), subdivisions, sanitary and storm sewer design, potable water treatment plant design, distribution system design, waste treatment design, quality control and quality assurance, construction observation, as well as contract and project management.

A 1979 graduate of the University of Missouri/Rolla, John earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. His credentials include registration as a Professional Engineer in Illinois, Iowa, Missouri and Oklahoma.

MECO Engineering is fortunate to have an engineer and a person of John’s caliber as a member of our professional team. Please join us in welcoming John to our company. John and his wife, Cinda, reside in Quincy, Illinois.

MECO STAFF RECEIVES OSHA TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION

MECO Engineering Company of Hannibal, MO recently provided advanced training opportunities for the firm’s professional engineering staff and technical personnel. OSHA certified trainers held two, 4-hour sessions at MECO’s Hannibal Office.

Robert W. Brooks, PhD, Training Programs Manager of Mayhew Environmental Training Associates, Inc. (META) of Lawrence, KS, conducted the “Lead Awareness” certification program, relating to lead based paint safe work practices. Completing this course and receiving OSHA certification were: James F. Jae, III, Daniel L. Locke, Kyle T. Pociask, PE, and Paul Swisher. Also attending and completing the course was invited guest Mathew N. Munzlinger, PE, of the Hannibal Board of Public Works.

OSHA Certified Trainer Robert Hatchcock of Union, Missouri, conducted the “Confined Space” safety certification program. The following employees received OSHA certification following the four-hour class: James D. Bensman, PE/SE, James F. Jae, III, Brian Haden, Daniel L. Locke, Kyle T. Pociask, PE, James M. Puskar, and Paul Swisher.

We congratulate each of our employees and Mr. Munzlinger for their individual accomplishments. By completing courses such as the two OSHA-certified classes and through the continuing education of our Professional Engineers and Professional Land Surveyors, MECO Engineering is prepared to meet the current and future needs of our clients and the ever increasing demands and challenges presented by the regulatory agencies.
