MECO Engineering’s CADD Drafting Department supports our Civil, Water and Wastewater, Transportation, Structural and Bridge, and Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Departments and our Land Survey Department through the production of technical drawings, various types of maps and construction plans. Plans and drawings are utilized by contractors to bid and construct the various types of projects designed by the firm for our governmental and private sector clients, including water treatment plants and distribution systems, wastewater treatment plants and both gravity and low pressure collection systems; local streets and collector roads, bridges, culverts and storm water collection and detention facilities and maintenance buildings. Missouri and Illinois architectural firms and private developers look to MECO to produce site design and grading drawings and plans, utility relocation/extension plans, and storm water management plans for their building, residential, and commercial development projects. Our technicians are proficient in the preparation of mechanical and electrical related drawings and plans, providing support for our Mechanical and Electrical Design Department. MECO designers are trained and skilled in the use of AutoCAD Civil 3D (2011). This industry standard CADD program includes alignments (horizontal/vertical), providing for the import of raw field data to develop terrain models, generate cross sections, and develop typical section and road corridors. The designer is able to compute and adjust a true 3D representation of the cross-section with his expert knowledge and technical capacity to fully utilize the AutoCAD 3D program. Look to MECO Engineering to meet your drafting needs for your next project. We provide accurate, affordable drawings, regardless of the size of your project, on time and on budget.
