Established in 1985, MECO Engineering Company, Inc. is considered a leader in the specialized field of municipal and governmental consulting. Through our integrity, innovation, and reliability, we are dedicated to raising the standards of our industry while achieving and maintaining client satisfaction.
MECO’s Corporate Office is located in Hannibal, Missouri, and our operations are augmented by offices in Jefferson City and Boonville, Missouri and Pittsfield, Illinois. We concentrate our efforts on providing engineering consulting and land surveying services to our public sector clients, primarily municipalities, water/sewer districts and county commissions, who represent over 85% of our client base.
MECO also provides services to private sector clients, including commercial and residential developers and to the industrial community.
Our familiarity with Missouri and West Central Illinois, developed through our 25 years of working throughout the region, has allowed us to cultivate strong and lasting relationships, both professional and personal, that are essential to the success of our projects.
MECO Engineering’s staff includes civil engineers, structural, bridge, mechanical and electrical engineers and professional land surveyors with extensive experience in the planning and development of a vast array of infrastructure projects, including public drinking water, wastewater, sanitary sewer, storm water, site development, and transportation (streets/roads/bridges).
Our staff is comprised of nine licensed Professional Engineers (PE), including a licensed Structural Engineer (SE) and a mechanical/electrical (MEP) engineer; and two registered Professional Land Surveyors (PLS). Our professional staff is supported by highly trained technical and administrative personnel, experienced in design, AutoCADD, project management, project financing, construction engineering, construction management, and construction observation.
